100V Controller Toggle Switch Replacement

Although our 100v Controllers come with a removable overvoltage protection diode, occasionally there can be additional damage to the controller when the diode is overvolted. Most commonly this damage presents itself in the wires from the toggle switch being burnt or melted near that diode. Thankfully this part is easily replaceable!

Before you begin, you'll want to disconnect the ribbon cable that connects the switch to the board.

Once you've disconnected your ribbon cable, our next task is to unscrew the switch from the box. 

You may need to use a wrench or pliers to get a good grip on the fittings for the switch box. 

One you've loosened the connection, the rubber nub covering the switch will come off the controller, allowing the switch to be removed from the box.

Now that you have the switch removed, you can place in your replacement part and get back up and running!
